So I've had anoda crazy week, work work and more work... and then more responsibilities coming in here and there.. I now hear the songs 'Forever Young' and '2012' wishing they came out when I was eight.. I know I was pure then.. with what I now know (or maybe if I had seen the future), I would have written a letter, dubbed these 2 hits on a tape and then dropped it in a the prayer request box in MFM. (Lord forgive me) I hate growing up.
Now down to the business of today, I check out Madrid's highlights against Ajax (nowadays I don't get to see most games) and then I see Uefa, investigate, red card, Madrid in 1 sentence. I decide to watch the clips and it arouses so much lafta in me... please if you haven't seen it, follow these links;

Well call it whatever you want, but I'll call it ruthless tactics. Rules are either meant to be obeyed, bent or maneuvered, Madrid simply chose option 3. No 1s leg got broken, no ugly moments, nothing at all. Then Mourinho the instigator, watches every1 including me, waste valuable hours of their lives talking and debating about football, the rules, the cheating & blah blah.
Well if y'all may know, this is Saturday, Monday is El Classico and he has made himself the bigger topic, thus deflecting the pressure from the team (selected interviews & indoor trainings), only Barcelona may do all the talking. Plus, those players will be clean for the group stage, forget all those ramblings and blah blahs by various factions.
The only two people that aroused some form of annoyance in me were unsuprisingly Marca and Wenger. Please, who made Arsene Wenger a commentator in Mourinho's case, he should stop trying to use Mou to deflate the issue of him under-performing in any competition, plus this is his 6th trophyless season in a row. In this regard, Mou and Wenger are like day and night. I'm sure if Wenger had a blog, his internet connection will seize anytime he tried M.O.U.R. cos they are not the same.
Plus our dear Marca (the supposed official herald for Real Madrid), is really starting to grind my gears. All they do is antagonize and defame every coach that has been here since Del Bosque. I have a feeling their editor-in-chief wanks to a Barca jersey every morning.
As a Madrid fan I will not ask more of a team that is tactically aware, defensively solid, ruthlessly fast in counter-attack, quite entertaning and highly motivated. They are on the right track and Marca should know better than to try distracting the players and fans with such unnecessary bickerings. The team deserves more, instead positive reinforcements will be more appreciated. Mourinho is the inventor of this greatness, his approach no matter how eccentric, gets things done and results is what we need in Madrid. I guess that word 'result' is alien to Monsieur Wenger.
I think the best thing is that these players know what needs to be done, and their mental strength has improved. All they claim to think of is themselves. That confidence and self-belief is the important factor in this equation and for the first time in a long time, this team sounds like real champions. Whatever happens on Monday will not change this fact, and for the first time in years I'm not really bothered.
Hala Madrid
